Our Philosophy: Bespoke Art Instruction
At Atelier Nagaharu, there is no "one-size-fits-all" curriculum. Every artist has a unique voice, different goals, and a different starting point. Whether you are a beginner looking to relax or an experienced artist refining specific techniques, my role is to act as your mentor. I work with you to develop a plan that matches your personal goals, ensuring that your time in the studio is focused, meaningful, and entirely your own.

Studio Policies
We aim to keep our studio environment respectful, consistent, and flexible.
Your Weekly Spot: Your enrollment reserves a dedicated, recurring weekly easel for you. This consistency ensures steady progress on your projects.
Attendance & Makeups: We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to miss your regular class, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. We are pleased to offer flexible makeup opportunities in other sessions, subject to studio availability.
Materials & Supplies Policy
For the Aspiring Artist (Beginners): We want your creative journey to be low-pressure and accessible. For all our students starting out, the studio provides a curated selection of essential, high-quality basic materials (paints, brushes, and standard canvases). You do not need to purchase anything to begin; just bring your curiosity and your willingness to create.
For the Advancing Artist: As your practice deepens, you may find that your personal preferences change. You might discover a love for specific luxury linens, oversized canvases, or custom-shaped surfaces that fall outside our standard studio inventory.
At this stage, we encourage our students to begin curating their own collection of personal supplies. This allows you to explore the specific materials that best fit your unique artistic voice.
